ABN AMRO started its Polish operations in 1991, as a leader in a consortium of Western banks which established the IBP Bank. As part of our international expansion, we set up permanent operations in this country through two local subsidiaries: ABN AMRO Bank (Polska) SA and ABN AMRO Corporate Finance (Polska) Sp and received a full banking license in 1995.
