Underlining our sales strength, we were rated 1st for independent ideas and 3rd market knowledge and feel in the 2005 Thomson Extel Pan-European survey. The report also ranked three ABN AMRO sales staff in the top 20 for Pan-European sales as well as recognising our strength across a broad range of sectors in specialist sales.
In Asia Pacific we employ experienced sales people in 11 countries who have a view worth listening to and understand the needs of a diverse client base drawn from fund managers, insurance companies, pension funds and hedge funds. They specifically distribute Asian equities internationally. In addition we offer a broad range of Australian products and services to institutions around the world. Our presence in this region is supplemented by Asia Pacific sales desks in London and New York.
