When ABN AMRO entered the real estate lending market in 2004, we made sure that we had the right people. Drawn from financial institutions including Credit Suisse First Boston, Royal Bank of Scotland, West LB, HVB Group, Fitch and Moody's, our people have first-hand experience of CMBS property lending in markets from the US to the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Italy. They have originated and underwritten billions of euros of loans in all property asset classes – including highprofile deals such as La Defense, Wembley National Stadium, Chelsfield and Gecina/Simco.

Efficient, reliable delivery
ABN AMRO has firmly established itself as an efficient, sophisticated lender, structuring loans for Investment and Opportunity Funds such as Apollo, LaSalle Investment Management, Bank of Ireland Private Clients, JER and Whitehall. We have also met the diverse demands of property companies, logistics operators and organisations within the health sector. Here we structured a UK loan secured by a diversified portfolio of 44 real estate properties, let to the Priory Group, with an open market value of EUR 657.4 million.
